Children and Podiatry

It’s not just adults who need podiatry treatment. Children come in for lots of reasons with two of the main concerns being verrucae and in growing toe nails, and with it being the school holidays there has been an increase in numbers the last few weeks.

Lots of children are nervous about attending so my first aim is to make them feel comfortable and to have confidence in me, then we will always go with the treatment option that is the least likely to cause discomfort whilst resolving the problem.

I find treating children really rewarding and enjoy building up the trust and relationship with them and the carer who brings them so it’s always a delight to get a review like this.
